Mekatronik Mühendisleri Derneği Genel Sekreteri Esma KARLANKIÇ, Mekatronik Mühendisleri Odası’nın 10. yıl dönümü hakkındaki görüşlerini şu şekilde dile getirmiştir:
MEKMÜHDER olarak, 10. yılımızı kutlamanın gururunu yaşıyoruz. Bilim ve teknolojinin hızla dönüşüm geçirdiği bir dünyada, yeni bir çağın içindeyiz: Mekatronik Çağı.
Makine, elektrik-elektronik, robotik, yazılım, yapay zekâ ve otomasyon disiplinlerinin kesişiminden doğan mekatronik; artık yalnızca bir mühendislik alanı değil, disiplinler üstü bir mühendislik yaklaşımı olarak geleceğin teknolojilerini şekillendiriyor. Mekatronik; mekanik gücü, elektrik-elektroniğin hassasiyetini, robotik sistemlerin hareket kabiliyetini, yazılımın zekâsını, yapay zekânın öğrenme yeteneğini ve otomasyonun verimliliğini bir araya getirerek modern dünyanın üretim ve teknoloji altyapısını oluşturuyor.
Bu vizyonla yola çıkan MEKMÜHDER, 16 Mart Mekatronik Mühendisleri Günü etrafında şekillenen güçlü bir mühendislik topluluğu olarak yıllar içinde büyüdü. Bugün, 1700’den fazla üyesi, 60 binden fazla abonesi ve 8 binden fazla firmaya ulaşabilen iletişim ağıyla Türkiye’de mühendislik alanının en güçlü mesleki topluluklarından biri haline gelmiştir.
Bu yolculukta derneğimizin kuruluşundan bugüne kadar emeği geçen kurucularımızı, destek veren tüm paydaşlarımızı, üyelerimizi, partnerlerimizi ve dostlarımızı anmak ve katkılarını vurgulamak bizler için ayrı bir anlam taşımaktadır. Onların desteği ve iş birliği, MEKMÜHDER’in bugün ulaştığı güçlü ekosistemini oluşturmuştur.
MEKMÜHDER, üyelerine ve sektöre değer katmayı, bilgi paylaşımını artırmayı ve ülkemizin mühendislik kabiliyetini geliştirmesine katkı sağlamayı sürdürüyor. Kuruluşundan bu yana, geleceğin teknolojilerini şekillendirecek projeler ve etkinliklerle, mekatronik mühendislerini bir araya getiriyor ve mesleki güçlerini artırıyor.
Tarih bize önemli bir ders veriyor: Sanayi Devrimi’ni kaçıran toplumlar, yıllarca geride kaldı. Bugün ise Mekatronik Çağı’nda, yapay zekâ, robotik sistemler ve otomasyonun merkezinde yer alan mühendisler olarak, teknolojinin üretim biçimini yeniden tanımlıyoruz. Bu dönüşüme uyum sağlamak artık kaçınılmazdır.
Cumhuriyetimizin bilim ve akıl temelli kalkınma vizyonu doğrultusunda, mühendisliğin ve teknolojinin ülkemizin geleceğinde belirleyici rol oynadığına inanıyoruz. Mekatronik Mühendisleri Derneği (MEKMÜHDER) olarak, mekatronik mühendislerinin mesleki gücünü artırmaya, mühendisleri bir araya getirmeye ve geleceğin teknolojilerine katkı sunmaya devam edeceğiz. Ayrıca mühendislik meslek örgütlenmesinin güçlenmesi ve Mekatronik Mühendisleri Odası vizyonunun hayata geçirilmesi, mesleğin kurumsal temsiliyeti açısından önemli bir hedef olarak önümüzde durmaktadır.
Bugün geldiğimiz noktada açıkça görüyoruz ki:
Tarihin yeni çağı Mekatronik’tir.
Ve bu çağın mimarları, mekatronik mühendisleridir.
Bu vesileyle tüm meslektaşlarımızın ve mühendislik camiasının 16 Mart Mekatronik Mühendisleri Günü’nü kutluyor, bilimin, teknolojinin ve üretimin ışığında birlikte geleceği inşa etmeye devam ediyoruz.

Esma KARLANKIÇ, Secretary General of the Mechatronics Engineers Association,
expressed her views on the 10th anniversary of the Chamber of Mechatronics Engineers
as follows:
“As MEKMÜHDER, we are proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary. In a world where
science and technology are rapidly transforming, we are living in a new era: the Age of Mechatronics.
Mechatronics, which emerges from the intersection of mechanical engineering, electrical
and electronics engineering, robotics, software, artificial intelligence, and automation, is
no longer merely an engineering field. It has become an interdisciplinary engineering
approach that shapes the technologies of the future. By combining the power of
mechanics, the precision of electrical and electronic systems, the mobility of robotic
systems, the intelligence of software, the learning capability of artificial intelligence, and
the efficiency of automation, mechatronics forms the foundation of the modern world’s
production and technological infrastructure.
With this vision, MEKMÜHDER has grown over the years as a strong engineering
community centered around March 16 – Mechatronics Engineers Day. Today, with more
than 1,700 members, over 60,000 subscribers, and a communication network capable of
reaching more than 8,000 companies, it has become one of the strongest professional
engineering communities in Türkiye.
Throughout this journey, it holds special meaning for us to remember and emphasize the
contributions of our founders, stakeholders, members, partners, and friends who have
supported our association since its establishment. Their support and cooperation have
helped build the strong ecosystem that MEKMÜHDER represents today.
MEKMÜHDER continues to add value to its members and the sector, increase knowledge sharing, and contribute to the development of our country’s engineering capabilities.
Since its establishment, it has been bringing mechatronics engineers together through
projects and events that shape the technologies of the future while strengthening their
professional capacity.
History teaches us an important lesson: societies that missed the Industrial Revolution fell behind for many years. Today, in the Age of Mechatronics, as engineers positioned at the
center of artificial intelligence, robotic systems, and automation, we are redefining the
way technology shapes production. Adapting to this transformation is no longer optional.
In line with the Republic’s vision of development based on science and reason, we believe that engineering and technology play a decisive role in the future of our country.
As the Mechatronics Engineers Association (MEKMÜHDER), we will continue to
strengthen the professional power of mechatronics engineers, bring engineers together,
and contribute to the technologies of the future. Furthermore, strengthening professional
engineering organizations and realizing the vision of a Chamber of Mechatronics
Engineers remains an important goal for the institutional representation of the profession.
At the point we have reached today, we clearly see that:
The new age of history is Mechatronics.And the architects of this age are mechatronics engineers.
On this occasion, we celebrate March 16 – Mechatronics Engineers Day of all our colleagues and the engineering community, and we will continue to build the future together in the light of science, technology, and production.”
